Reading the numbers
The only canal parcel on Osprey Isle Ln. The other twenty carry a lakefront flag against Lake Chase. This one files canal, and it is also the lowest assessment on the street by a clear margin: $2,232,910 against $2,866,600 at 5542, the next one up.
It is also the most distant parcel on the record at 552 m, against a street range of 234 m to 552 m. Whether the canal flag and the distance are related is not something the roll states. Both fields are as filed, and neither says the parcel has water access a boat can use.
$411 a foot is fourth-lowest of 21. Below it sit only 5426 at $334, 5410 at $398 and 5441 at $409. On the smallest-but-one floor plate on the street, 5,436 sq ft, it produces the street's lowest value, so this is the rare parcel here where size, rate and value all point the same way.
Five bedrooms and six baths. One beyond the bedroom count, so an ensuite description is supportable. 1,087 sq ft of house per bedroom — the tightest ratio on the road.
Built 1995, mid-decade in the street's first phase. Its rate is the lowest of the 1990s cohort apart from 5426, and the gap to 5534 — a 2000 house five doors along — is $397 a foot. Two lakefront-adjacent parcels on one road, and the entire band of the street sits between them.
Reading the frontage
This is not lakefront by the roll's own flag. The water record reads canal on Lake Chase, and the recorded distance is 552 m. Nothing here establishes that the canal reaches the parcel, or that a boat kept on it can get to the lake. On a street of twenty lakefront flags, this is the exception, and a description that calls it lakefront would not survive a check.
That difference is visible in the number: the lowest lakefront assessment on this street is 5542's $2,866,600, which is $633,690 above this parcel. It is not proof of causation — the house is also the second-smallest here — but it is the only parcel on the road where both the water flag and the value sit at the bottom.
The parcel ID is 212328387000180, between 0170 at 5557 and 0190 at 5558. Osprey Isle Ln's 21 IDs run 0010 to 0250 in an order that has nothing to do with the house numbers as a set, though local runs like this one do ascend.
What this page is not
- It is not a listing. Nothing here says the property is for sale.
- It is not an appraisal. Just value is the county's assessment figure for its own tax year.
- It does not establish lakefront access, a dock, a seawall or navigable water from the canal.
- It does not say whether the canal flag is the reason this is the lowest assessment on the street.
