The only 1989 house, and the cheapest foot that side of the road

One parcel on this street was built in 1989. It carries $460.89 a foot — the fifth-lowest rate here, and the lowest of the eleven parcels that exceed 6,000 sq ft of living area after adjustment for size. A 5,164 sq ft house at this rate is the opposite of the small-and-dear pattern that 625 and 727 represent.

The bath count of five and a half on four bedrooms puts it squarely in the street's majority shape. Its oddity is purely the assessment.

Reading the Wauseon Bay frontage

Wauseon Bay opens off Lake Butler on the Town of Windermere side, so an address here is on the Butler Chain without sitting on the main basin. This parcel is screened as lakefront because its boundary reaches a mapped water polygon — a mapping result, not a shoreline survey.

Bay frontage, canal frontage and lake frontage are three different things to a buyer, and a GIS screen does not settle which one a deck faces. The recorded plat and the deed describe the lot; the permitting authority describes what may be built on the water.

What this page is not

  • It is not a listing. Nothing here says the property is for sale.
  • It is not an appraisal. Just value is the county's figure for its own tax year.
  • It is not a condition report. A 1989 build at a low rate per foot is not evidence of anything except the rate.

Windermere adds municipal review

Inside the Town of Windermere, exterior work and tree removal run through the town as well as the county. A renovation story in a listing description should name the approval that exists, not the one the buyer hopes for.
