Reading the numbers
This is where the address stops answering the question. Everything north of here on Kilgore Rd is Lake Sheen; this parcel and everything south of it is Lake Pocket. Same street, same ZIP code, same county, two different lakes — and nothing in the postal address tells you which. A listing that says "Lake Sheen waterfront" at 9650 would be wrong about the water.
The $778 rate is high, and the reason is the building, not the shoreline: four bedrooms behind two baths in 2,154 sq ft is a 1973 plan with almost no private bath provision, and the small denominator pushes the rate up. Compare 9666 four doors south, where 9,898 sq ft divides down to $351.
Reading the frontage
Lakefront is a mapped-polygon flag against Lake Pocket: the parcel reaches the water. Shoreline length, dock and seawall are not recorded.
The subdivision field carries only a partial metes-and-bounds legal description rather than a plat name. That is a data-quality flag: the lot line can only be established from the deed, not from anything on this page.
What this page is not
- It is not a listing. Nothing here says the property is for sale.
- It is not an appraisal. Just value is the county's assessment figure for its own tax year.
- It does not settle the lot dimensions. The legal description on file is incomplete.
